Report Debris

Louisiana will address the marine debris reported to the marine removal program. This program uses FEMA Public Assistance funding. Not all debris that is reported will be eligible for removal. In order to be eligible, the debris must create an economic, environmental or safety issue and have been caused by either Hurricane Katrina or Rita.

Use this webpage or call 1-866-579-4367 to report debris (Call hours M-F 8:00am to 5:00pm Central time).

If you have many debris points to report, you may email the information to Garrett.Broussard@la.gov.
